Instead of spending money to take vacations, travel or eat out, people are having “staycations”, inviting friends and family over and enjoying more time at their homes. Fountains, ponds and streams are also very important to the ambiance of a soothing backyard getaway. When you can simply step outside your back door and feel taken away to another place, even if just for a little bit, it makes it all worthwhile.
Pools, hot tubs and other recreational areas are also becoming more popular than ever in backyards across the country. As we see many people not able to sell their homes for what they are worth in a downturned economy, we see them instead looking for ways to fix them up or make them more enjoyable, often starting in the back yard.
